It's not the first time Will Smith has decided to shave his head but his new look has still stunned fans.

The hunky actor had to take the clippers to his hair for his new role in the anti-hero flick Suicide Squad, in which he plays Deadshot.

Will, 46, has just wrapped on filming the movie in Toronto, Canada alongside stars including Scott Eastwood, Margot Robbie, Ben Affleck, Jared Leto and Cara Delevingne.

The actor seemed in good spirits after shooting the flick and took time to meet and take some pictures with fans who waited all night for him.

Wait Till May 29: Jonathan Warns Buhari Against Forming Parallel Government

The presidency today warned the President-elect Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) against forming a parallel government and overheating the polity. Minister of National Planning, Abubakar Sulaiman who briefed state house correspondents at the end of weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, said through its actions and utterances, the incoming government was overheating the polity and carrying out actions that may undermine the powers of President Goodluck Jonathan. Sulauman, who is also the sub-committee Chairman of the federal government’s transition committee, said the federal executive council (FEC) rejected the term of reference brought before it by the transition committee of Buhari. “We did receive from in-coming government’s transition committee some terms of 
reference which we looked at critically. And ‎council did agree that Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan remains head of the current government of this country. The incoming government should avoid creating a parallel government while the government is still on. “We take exceptions to some utterances to some of the terms of reference that look as if the current government is being stampeded or intimidated. “Council frowned (upon) ‎most of the statements, most of the provisions and council members are advised to work in line with the terms of reference of the current government. “Council members are also of the view that the terms of reference as formatted by our transition committee should be strictly complied with.When the incoming government takes over government, they can come out with their programmes; they can come out with their own ‎agenda; they can decide to come out with policies with the way they feel like. “This government remains resolute to the various programmes and projects ‎it’s pursuing and the government will continue to do that until the morning of May 29. “While Council enjoined members to be steadfast, Mr. President also enjoined members to come out with programmes, projects to be commissioned, that needs to be inspected and members in council should work as government, should perform their work without intimidation and that government especially civil servants, directors, directors general should see this government as the current government and not do anything that will rock the boat so as not to put this country in a bad light. ‎ “These are issues before the transition committee; these are issues that were raised on transition programme. “I want to tell you that as at yesterday (Tuesday), the chairman of the incoming transition committee Mallam Ahmed Joda‎ conferred with the chairman of the transition committee of the current government, Vice President Namadi Sambo. Aladi Sule (pictured above) lies critically ill at the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, Kogi State. Her body is wrapped in bandage, from the head to the chest. Part of her back and her right leg are socked in foil. One of her eyes has been “eaten” by acid and her right ear is rolled into a small ball. Aladi’s critical situation is no thanks to an alleged angry ex-lover who was said to have promised to destroy her beauty and fulfilled his promise. Two months ago, 25 year old Aladi was a pretty lady in her community, Idah, the headquarters of Idah Local Government Area of Kogi State. And today, she says she's 
suffering because she failed to take serious
 the threat of her ex-lover, Kazeem Abdullahi, who, she alleged, had come to her fruits shop, to deal with her if she failed to pack out of the house he rented for her. Sunday Vanguard gathered that Aladi and the suspect were secondary school lovers in Idah. Shortly after their secondary school education, Aladi became pregnant for him in 2011, a development that caused Aladi to moved into Kazeem’s house. The pregnancy produced a baby girl. Unfortunately, the baby died shortly after her first birthday. Kazeem was said to have married another wife in 2011 who also moved into the house with them – that was the beginning of Aladi’s travail. The new wife was said to have raised the alarm shortly after that Aladi was the reason she was unable to conceive. She alleged that Aladi had been visiting a neighboring community to affect her spiritually. The second wife was also said to have alleged that the sudden disappearance of her clothes and other house hold items was a product of Aladi’s spiritual attack; a development that made Kazeem to send Aladi’s away to her family house. Few months after, Kazeem was said to have approached Aladi to return to the house. This time around, Aladi’s family kicked against it. The paternal uncle was said to have frowned against it. He was said to have told Kazeem to prepare for marriage rites before he could get her back to his house. His position was hinged on the fact that Aladi was subjected to such maltreatment because there was no proper marriage between them. Kazeem promised to perform the marriage rite. In the interim, he rented a house, for her. However, few months after, Kazeem was said to have recanted and said he was no longer interested in continuing with the marriage. The family was said to have raised money for Aladi which she used to start the business of selling provision in the market in day time and, in the evening, retired to her street corner ( Bishop Junction) selling fruits. Bishop Junction is a popular area of Idah with taxi and Okada riders using the place as their park. In few months, she was able to raise fund and was already planning to seek admission to the university. Aladi before the attack It was at this Bishop Junction that Kazeem approached her and demanded that she pack out of the house he rented for her. “He told me to pack out, threatening to deal with me. He said he was going to recreate me and make me ugly saying it was because men were still looking at me that made me think I was pretty. He also said if I failed to pack out, he will deal with me and destroy the beauty that I was using to ‘pose’ around town. I thought he was just jealous that I was looking good and making progress with my business after he said he was no longer interested in me. I told him it was mere anger and I decided to ignore his warning.” Aladi also said she did not bother to inform any of her family members about the threat until the sad event happened. Not done, Kazeem was said to have approached the land lady he rented the house from, urging her to send Aladi’s packing. The landlady was said to have informed him that she could not send her away on the grounds that she had been able to renew the house rent on her own. Kazeem was said to have stormed out of the building but not before telling the land lady to expect him back in a manner she will never forget. Two weeks later, it happened. Aladi said it was around midnight when she was sleeping at home with her niece staying with her. Because of the heat, she decided to open her door; afterall, some occupants of the building were also sleeping outside. She said she was woken up by the sound of her niece struggling with a man beside her on the bed. ”I saw my niece struggling with him Kazeem was holding a container in his hand. Immediately I saw him, I began to scream his name but, before my shout could attract people, he had already poured the content on me. Immediately, it felt as if my body was set up on fire. I didn’t know what happened next until I found myself at the village cottage clinic”. The niece was also affected at the head as the acid poured on her. It was from the hospital that she was referred to the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja where she spent one month at the emergency ward before being transferred to the theater for her first surgery and now lies in critical condition at the female surgical ward. Her sister, Fatima Sule, who is looking after her, said the family received a distress call from a neighbor, who heard her shouting and rushed to her room. The neighbor was said to have seen a familiar figure bolting out of the room, and, on getting inside, saw her with the acid sprayed on her body. They immediately rushed her to the village clinic. “When we got to the hospital I could not identify my sister again. Part of her body had been burnt beyond recognition”. The elder brother, Isiaka Sule, a VIO officer, who has been responsible for the medical payment, said it was around 2 o’clock in the night when her sister, Fatima, called him to say their sister had been bathed with acid. Isiaka said the next day he and some family member went to the police station in the community to lodge a complaint. But to their surprise, Kazeem was said to have been there to lodge a similar complaint. But Kazeem, in his statement, told the police that he heard that a lady in her street (even though he allegedly lives far away from the place) had been bathed with acid. He was quoted as saying he only came to the station to report as a good citizen and because some people may say he was the one who did it. Aladi from the sick bed, insisted the estranged lover was the person she saw on the day she was attacked. The police arrested Kazeem but three days later set him free as his(Kazeem) parents promised to take care of Aladi’s medical bill. The Sule family decided against pursuing the case in court, opting instead to focus on saving the life of their sister. “How can I have the time, energy or money to go to court or continue visiting the police station when our sister is still lying critically ill in hospital? As I speak with you we have spent over N300,000 on her treatment. I have even taken a soft loan of N100, 000 from Sharp – Sharp. That along with the money from sympathizers has all been expended. We have exceeded our financial limit,”Isiaka said. Aladi still has a long way to go. The doctors treating her said there are two other surgeries to be carried out aside the fact that her right eye had been lost and the right ear eaten by the acid. Since the doctors could not get vein in her hands; they had to lacerate one of her legs in order to pass drips. Aladi fears she may not be able to walk again. “All I’m after is to be able to walk again. Presently I cannot put my leg on the ground . I know I am already disfigured. I also know that he (Kazeem) has succeeded in his plan.I don’t care about my body or look again; I just hope I can walk,” she stated. The doctors however give a glimpse of hope. The laceration of Aladi’s leg will not make her paralyzed. They said she will still be able to use the leg to walk again. The families are however in the dilemma on how to raise money for the other surgeries and pay medical bills that will arise. The efforts of the family to approach Kogi State Government through the Ministry of Women Affairs have not yielded positive result. The family is appealing to individuals and organizations to come to their aid to give their sister ‘life’ again. A man filed a complaint with the police, saying that he was gang defiled by a group of women, police in South Africa said. The documentary was described by the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a“fabricated and hate broadcast” against its presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari. Furious 7' led the US box office over the weekend for the third consecutive week with an estimated $29.1 million, racing past $1 billion to $1.152 billion worldwide.

Following its more than $1 billion reach at the box office worldwide, Furious 7 has raced into the top ten highest grossing movies of all time.

Furious 7 is also the highest grossing film of 2015 at the domestic box office, bringing in a total of $294.4 at the domestic box office.

The Paul Walker movie is expected to race past Iron Man 3 and Frozen to join the top five all-time at the worldwide box office.

Female student tortured, injected with poison for refusing to join fraternity

A 17-year-old female student of the Niger Delta University, Ammassoma, Bayelsa State, was last week attacked by a suspected all female cult fraternity on the campus because she refused several entreaties to join the fraternity which is said to be involved in lesbian activities and drug related crimes in the school.

According to Punch Newspaper, the cult group reportedly led by a final year student of the Education Department in the school, had at several times, invited the girl who is said to be the daughter of one of the lecturers in the school and a first year student of the Economics Department, to join them but she always refused such invitations due to her strict Christian background and faith.

Angry at her refusal to be a part of the group, they allegedly attacked her at Hostel “F” of the institution and injected her with a strange substance after subjecting her to severe torture.

A close friend of victim said the victim was attacked at about 4am last Tuesday in her hostel room.

"She was tied to a chair and severely beaten by four girls. Her hair attachment was forceful removed and she was injected with substances that made her behave in a crazy manner for days.

When the attackers saw that the girl had fainted, they brought her out of the room in the early hours of morning, and they were apprehended."

The Students’ Senate Disciplinary Committee is said to have begun investigations into the matter with a view to bringing the culprits to book.

Jonathan Has Been Abandoned, Big Men No Longer Visit Him (See Reasons)

You can't know your true friends when the going is good. When you fall inside a 'gutter', you are on your own. Those who used to wine and dine with you will have excuses why they can't be with you. How sad! Just few weeks after President Goodluck Jonathan was defeated by Muhammadu Buhari of the APC, his above, the Aso Rock seat of power, has become a shadow of its once boisterous self. Most noticeable is the shrinking figure of influence peddlers who frolicked with the first family round the clock, including joining in the morning prayers at the Villa Chapel. Sadly, none of the big men have time to come and pray with President Jonathan again. Most of the visitors who hitherto made the place a beehive of activities have deserted the place.
LEADERSHIP’s investigations in the last four weeks revealed that while about 800 people daily visited the presidential villa before the election, fewer than 150 visited in the last couple of weeks. Among the Villa absentees are top government officials, Christian leaders, lobbyists, politicians, principal aides to the president and business tycoons. Prior to the elections, when special functions like retreats, seminars, dinners and other programmes were held at the banquet hall, Aso Rock usually played host to thousands of guests, including gate crashers. It was observed that between March 28 and last week, the number of persons visiting Jonathan, VP Namadi Sambo, the First Lady and other presidential aides had dropped to just 150 from about 1,000. Before the presidential poll, there were governors and former governors who visited the president in his office on a regular basis, sometimes twice a week or more, but after the election they have stayed away. Sadly, many of those considered members of Jonathan’s kitchen cabinet have only visited once or twice since March 28. Some of them have been seen hobnobbing with members of the victorious APC. Before the election, Jonathan’s regular visitors included governors: Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom); Gabriel Suswam (Benue); Olusegun Mimmiko (Ondo); Isa Yuguda (Bauchi); Ibrahim Shema (Katsina) and Ayo Fayose (Ekiti) among others. Governor Akpabio showed up only once in the villa, the week after the poll. Mimiko came only last Thursday. Suswam visited the place last Friday merely to attend the meeting of the board of Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) Ltd chaired by Vice President Namadi Sambo. Jonathan’s associates in the business community, who had turned the villa to their second home before the election, have also deserted the place. These include people like Femi Otedola, Arthur Eze, Jim Ovia, Jimoh Ibrahim and Emeka Offor, etc. Since Jonathan lost his re-election bid, the hordes of Nollywood actors and actresses, musicians and sports stars have not come visiting the villa, unlike in the past. This development has left security personnel at the gates, who usually had very hectic days clearing people, with little work to do. To enter to Aso Rock, visitors are required to present photo identification with information exactly matching the name previously submitted for clearance to the security personnel at the gates, and individuals whose identification do not exactly match the name or date cleared would be denied entry. The scanty turnout of visitors to the villa in the past few weeks became quite noticeable owing to the fact that during months and weeks that preceded the presidential polls, the place was hardly big enough to contain the hordes of people who came to show solidarity to President Jonathan’s re-election bid. “They are simply fair weather friends”, one source confided.
“This will show you how hypocritical politicians could be. When it was obvious that the outgoing regime had what it takes to address their interest politically, even those who had no business coming here were constantly at war with security operatives, seeking to gain entrance to show their fake loyalty. “I am sure the president and his aides would have learnt their lessons by now, although late, that power is transient and political power is quite ephemeral,” another source added.

The female kidnapper, who abducted three children in the Surulere area of Lagos State, has said her husband, Waheed Kareem, is the mastermind of the kidnap. She added that Kareem was the head of a kidnap ring that involved some members of his family. It was gathered that her husband escaped arrest and he is now on the run. The female kidnapper, who posed as a nanny, adopted a pseudonym - Mary Akinloye - to deceive the Orekoyas. Her actual name was Funmilayo Adeyemi, a 35-year-old indigene of Osun State. The Orekoyas had posted on OLX, an online portal, saying they needed a nanny for their children. She was said to have contacted the family and was employed immediately. Barely 24 hours after she was employed, the nanny abducted three children of the family – Aderomola (11 months), Adedamola (4 years) and Demola (6 years). Punch reported that N15m ransom was initially demanded from the family, which was later reduced to N13 after much appeal by the victims’ mother. The family paid an undisclosed amount of money into the bank account of the kidnappers before the children were released on Tuesday. On Thursday, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Kayode Aderanti, confirmed that the fake nanny had been arrested. She was paraded at the Lagos State Police Command Headquatres in Ikeja.
The woman said that it was the second time she would be abducting kids in the state. She confessed to have been responsible for the kidnap of two kids – Rapheal and Michael – in the Magodo area of Lagos State. CP Adeyemi said her husband, four children and she were formerly living in the Ajah area of Lagos State, but relocated to Shasha to evade arrest after kidnapping the Magodo boys. Sadly, the kids parents paid N2m but the woman's husband gave her only N30,000 and kept the rest. CP Aderanti has therefore advised parents and guardians not to be in a hurry to employ house helps without doing background checks on them.
