Will Smith's movie titled focusunseats 'Fifty Shades of Grey' at box office

Will Smith's new movie "Focus" has taken over from erotic romance movie 'Fifty Shades of Grey' at the box office, opening with $19.1 million.

According to studio estimates Sunday, Warner Bros.' "Focus" easily topped all competitors on a weekend with little competition at North American multiplexes. In second place was the Colin Firth spy thriller 'Kingsman: The Secret Service.'

After two weeks of dominating the box office and making $486.2 million globally, "Fifty Shades of Grey" went down to the fourth place with an estimated $10.9 million.

Speaking on the modest box office opening of his movie 'Focus', Will Smith says he can't allow the performance of a movie to determine his self esteem;

"I can't allow the box-office success, or lack thereof, to determine my self-image," he said to The Associated Press.
